Election night is Tuesday. While politicians hunker down in their districts, embassies host private watch parties and staffers on both sides of the aisle gather to celebrate or panic, bars and restaurants around D.C. will be running special offers for Washingtonians to enjoy as the votes roll in.

In case you’re in need of election night plans and want the option of watching the results with a buzz, here is a roundup of places showing the midterms:

metrobar: A large Democrat election-night watch party is set to take place from 5 p.m. to close at metrobar in Northeast. They will have their Slices & Sips Happy Hour until 7, featuring pizzas from El Jefe for $10 and “rotating happy hour menu of craft cocktails, local beer, and wine.” Local X personality @OrganizerMemes anticipates hosting a mixture of “friends, political workers, reporters, lobbyists, influencers, and potentially a few politicians” for a “Bicameral Blackout.” RSVP here for access to the open bar.

Union Pub: The Capitol Hill staple is likely to be a popular spot to watch the midterms from the Senate side. The pub will have its special “Midterm Massacre Menu” running through Tuesday with cocktails and shooters named after swing states, such as “Buckeye Bloodbath” (Ohio) and “The Dead Man’s Draw” (Texas).

Polymarket at Mission Navy Yard: Polymarket and All-In are hosting a prediction markets-focused event on Tuesday at Mission Navy Yard with an open bar and “live Polymarket odds on every race, all night.” Doors open at 6 p.m. The Midterms Livestream will start at 7 featuring Piers Morgan, then the All-In Besties from 8 to 10. RSVP here.

Teddy & The Bully Bar: The election results “will be cast on four large screens” at this mainstay work-dinner spot in Dupont Circle. There will be $8 oyster shooters, $8 NYC mules, $4 dollar New York-style hot dogs, $8 dollar funnel cake with raspberry coulis and more. In case you aren’t sold yet, there will also be a Theodore Roosevelt lookalike “working the room and taking photos.”

Public Bar Live: The Political Integrity Project is hosting a Midterm Election party from 6 p.m. to midnight at Public, just south of Dupont Circle. Daniel Lobo-Lewis anticipates a group made up of “largely supporters, friends, and folks in the political world who are done with big money in politics.” Their goal is to “celebrate wins across the board for candidates who have taken our anti-corruption pledge.” RSVP here.

Crush Dance Bar: The LGBTQ+ bar Crush, at 14th and U, is hosting a Trivia & Watch Party, in collaboration with J Street Trivia, featuring sound-on TVs, free nachos and happy hour all night.

Franklin Hall: The Center for New Liberalism is hosting an event at Franklin Hall near U Street — usually the spot to watch the Brits watch soccer — beginning at 5 p.m.

The Midlands Beer Garden: The Park View beer garden is hosting an “Election Night Watch Party” with happy hour all day: $10 beer flights and $5 bratwursts, plus $5 off all bottles of wine and $2 off frozen drinks.

Shaw’s Tavern: The election results will be playing on TV, and taco and margarita specials will be ongoing starting at 7 p.m.

Highlands Tavern: The neighborhood bar in Cleveland Park will serve $5 pints of Senate Beer.
