Law enforcement on Monday took a suspect into custody who is accused of “property damage” on Vice President JD Vance’s home in Ohio, according to the Secret Service.
Vance and his family were not in Ohio at the time, and both the vice president and Secret Service noted the damage involved breaking windows.
“I appreciate everyone’s well wishes about the attack at our home,” Vance said on Truth Social. “As far as I can tell, a crazy person tried to break in by hammering the windows.”
