George Conway — co-founder of the anti-Donald Trump Lincoln Project and ex-husband of Trump political operative Kellyanne Conway — announced he will run for New York’s 12th District, which covers much of Manhattan.
Paperwork filed with the Federal Election Commission on Monday shows that Conway is running as a Democrat.
Conway will seek to replace Rep. Jerry Nadler in an already crowded Democratic primary field. Nadler has served in the U.S. House since 1992.
