With another slate of football games in the books, here are five players who turned in memorable performances in Week 4:
Jaiden Hebron, Senior, Running Back, Quince Orchard
One year ago, Hebron suffered a torn ACL in Quince Orchard’s cross-state showdown against Virginia power Stone Bridge. Now fully recovered, the senior shined in this year’s meeting with the Bulldogs, posting a 127-yard rushing performance as the Cougars extended their yearslong winning streak to 30 games with a 20-6 victory. Hebron burst free for a 42-yard dash late in the fourth quarter, then punched in a short touchdown run moments later to put the game out of reach.

Deylen Jones, Senior, Athlete, Oakton
Oakton’s 4-0 start has become one of Virginia’s most intriguing storylines early this season. The Cougars’ high-powered offense is averaging over 44 points per game and picked up a 32-23 win over Colonial Forge on Friday. Jones, a Harvard commit, has helped power Oakton’s success — the senior eclipsed 200 scrimmage yards and found the end zone four times in Friday’s victory.
Davien Parks, Senior, Linebacker, Anacostia
In Anacostia’s battle for the Southeast Cup against D.C. rival Ballou, Parks delivered a statement performance. The senior linebacker registered five sacks in a 38-0 blowout win as coach Seneca Surles’ team picked up its third straight win after dropping its season opener to Digital Pioneers. Anacostia avenged last year’s 50-0 loss to Ballou with a shutout performance of its own.
Kenaz Sullivan, Senior, Defensive Back, The St. James
The young Strivers, a second-year program loaded with Division I commits, have played as advertised through the first month of the season. Coach Darryl Overton’s team thumped Mount Zion Prep on Friday, 65-0. Sullivan, a four-star Maryland commit, pulled down two interceptions in the victory. The Strivers will look to Sullivan for more defensive fireworks with matchups looming against national powers IMG Academy and St. Frances.
Laroy Williams, Sophomore, Running Back, Digital Pioneers
Williams rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries as the Pythons handled H.D. Woodson this week, 34-0. The win was a resilient performance for Digital Pioneers, which squandered an early 16-point lead to Theodore Roosevelt last week. With their sophomore running back leading the charge on offense, the Pythons look to contend for the city crown following an 11-win season last year.
