Hillary Clinton is launching a new podcast with tech journalist and podcast host Kara Swisher ahead of the midterms, part of an effort to promote Democratic candidates and push her priorities as the election nears its final stretch.
The show, titled “High Stakes,” will run weekly through Nov. 3, with the inaugural installment set to air on Wednesday.
Vox Media is producing and distributing the podcast. The company also hosts several of Swisher’s podcasts, including “Pivot” and “On With Kara Swisher.”
“What you pay for groceries, rent and health care is on the line,” Clinton said in a video promoting the launch of the limited series.

With a Republican trifecta controlling the White House and both chambers of Congress, Clinton believes the stakes of the midterm elections could not be any higher.
“If we don’t reverse this chaos and corruption and cruelty that is being visited upon us by this administration, we won’t recognize our country,” Clinton told The New York Times in an interview last week.
In 2016, Clinton was the Democratic nominee for president, but she ultimately lost to President Donald Trump. Clinton already had experience in the White House and executive branch, serving as the first lady during the presidency of her husband, Bill Clinton, in the 1990s — and then as the Secretary of State during President Barack Obama’s first term.
Clinton has remained relatively quiet this election cycle, but she issued her first endorsement last week of Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, the Democratic Senate candidate running against Michele Tafoya, a former NFL sideline reporter and commentator.
