Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is taking a new job at Fox News just two months after leaving the Trump administration.
Leavitt, 29, will start Nov. 1 as an on-air contributor and appear across the network’s news and opinion programming, the network announced Monday morning.
Leavitt left the White House at the end of August, saying she wanted to spend more time with her family after giving birth to her second child in May. At the time, Trump said she would remain an outside adviser and a key voice in Republican politics.
Her hiring puts another former Trump press secretary at Fox. Kayleigh McEnany joined the network after serving in the same job during Trump’s first term.

“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.
The announcement also comes as President Donald Trump continues to attack Fox over coverage he dislikes. Last week, Trump accused the network of repeating “a completely negative narrative” and said “MAGA, and REAL Patriots, will never like Fox!”
Leavitt was the youngest person to serve as White House press secretary. She became one of Trump’s most visible defenders, frequently sparring with reporters during White House briefings.
Leavitt has since moved with her family to New Hampshire, where she grew up. She said she plans to bring Fox viewers “the unique perspective and candor that defined my tenure with the Trump administration.”
