Maria Vargas is director of partnerships at The Washington Sun, where she works with leading companies and organizations to develop strategic partnerships, sponsorships, events and other opportunities that connect brands with Washington’s influential audiences.
Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Maria has called Washington, D.C., home for 15 years. Outside of work, she loves dancing, exploring the city’s food scene and traveling. She is also a proud Buffalo Bills fan.
