DHS Shutdown Continues After House Rejects Senate Deal, Passes Separate Funding Bill
The standoff over funding the Department of Homeland Security continues after the House and Senate passed competing measures. President Trump announced DHS would pay TSA workers, but it’s unclear how that will work and Congress left town for a two-week recess without a resolution.
